Classes
These classes are for everyone who wants to explore God's Word and talk about what it means to live according to its teachings.
When: every other Friday from 8:00 - 9:30 pm
Where: the church lobby
This is a discussion-based exploration of the Bible. The format is very simple: we read a little bit, and then talk about the reading. We treat the Word as a guidebook for our lives; our goal is not simply to understand it, but to understand why God gave it to us and what He's asking us to do. If you're interested in joining a class, but aren't sure which one, then this is a good place to start.
When: twice a month on Thursdays from 10:00 - 11:30 am
Where: the church lobby
This class is very similar to the Scripture Study class, except that instead of the Bible, it explores the teachings of the New Church. The class takes its name from the book Arcana Coelestia (Latin for "Secrets of Heaven"), one of the books of the teachings of the New Church. Where: the church hall
Good food is one of the best tools for building happy communities. Potlucks are a fun social event for the whole family; everyone simply heads down to the church hall after worship, and then they eat!
